Role and responsibilities: senior web developer responsibilities include leading a team of junior developers, refining website specifications, and resolving technical issuesThis role is responsible for working as a consultant for the nhtsa chief information office and is responsible for complying with ost and dot developmental guidelines or regulationsTo be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience building web pages from scratch and in-depth knowledge of:
Identifying user and system requirements for new websites and applications
Prioritizing software development projects, setting timelines and assigning tasks to team members
Creating wireframes, test environments, design documents and other documents as prescribed by the federal government.
Required skills: minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in some, or all, of the following technologies:
Aws services
O lambda o api gateway o node.js o angularjs
Document/publishing - aws s3
Database
O postgresql
Identity/access management
Familiarity with identity assertion through openid and/or saml
Familiarity with okta
Education
Bs in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related scientific, technical, or functional discipline with 8 years of experience, of which at least 6 years must be specialized in system functional analysis.
