Working in the eprocurement sector, we are currently looking for a sales operation specialist to join our teamAs a qualified sales operations specialist, your job will be to make sure our sales team is running as efficiently and productively as possible and you will report to the director of sales operationsYou will collaborate across several internal teams acting as a key resource for sales data and salesforce functionalityThe role revolves around optimizing the company’s digital crm (salesforce) system to ensure there is clear and effective communication between the sales team, renewals, customer service, supplier enablement and managementThe role includes a healthy amount of data tracking, revenue planning and analysis to provide stakeholders with recommendations and insights to track and improve performanceYou will be responsible for ensuring that all sales data is gathered, analyzed, and prepared for presentation as well as ensuring adherence to, and execution of, company defined processesYou will also provide feedback and recommendations for process improvement through integration and automation.
Main responsibilities:
The sales operations specialist interacts with all levels of the sales team;
Help manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization;
Provide day-to-day operational support to sales and customer success reps—reports, proposals, basic crm requests, etc.;
Provide analytical support to improve strategies, coverage models and sales team configurations to optimize sales effectiveness;
Proactively monitor salesforce.com for data quality issues and initiate resolution through clear documentation, streamlining, and automation;
For new sales team members, they help with training and onboarding;
With sales leaders and managers, they help make data-driven decisions and recommendations for improving the sales funnel and process;
Develop and monitor key performance indicators for sales;
Provide reports on key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers;
Assist in key sales planning activities, including updates to quotas, headcount, territories, and sales plans;
Support in managing and maintaining the companies crm system (salesforce) in close alignment with sales team;
Provide regular sales analytics e.g., funnel size, funnel stage management, lead tracking;
Partner with sales leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement;
Liaise with sales reps to develop specific sales strategies;
Stay up to date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is aligned.
Desired profile:
Proven work experience;
Proficiency with ms office suite;
In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices;
Ability to review workload, set priorities, and manage time to complete tasks and meet deadlines;
Strong communication, verbally and in writing, to multiple stakeholders including sales leadership, finance, operations, and legal;
Excellent communication skills;
Analytical and multitasking skills;
Teamwork and motivational skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred;
3+ years of super-user level/admin crm experience, in salesforce.com;
2+ years of relevant experience in sales operations or equivalent roles;
High proficiency in sales reporting and data analysis;
Other experience in sales, or marketing a plus.
