Full job description
Build and maintain outstanding relationships with providers and payers addressing any issues or concerns that they may have about products or processesMaintain awareness of and ensure adherence to pps standards regarding privacy.
Technical skills / knowledge:
Demonstrates proficiency in troubleshooting payer and provider inquiries effectively.
Has demonstrated ability to translate technical descriptions into laymen terminology.
Has basic understanding of pps products, protocols, systems and processes.
Has strong knowledge of edi and basic knowledge of ms sql.
Has fundamental understanding of pps system in order to respond to payer and provider inquiries, as well as troubleshooting other client issues.
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize pps proprietary client system, ms office applications, etc.
Works on assignments that are minimally complex in nature in which judgment and initiative are required to make recommendations or resolve problems.
Thorough knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures.
Requires minimal supervision on day-to-day tasks but seeks guidance on more complex tasks
Ability to follow detailed instructions on assignments.
Regularly reviews goals and objectives with supervisor.
Must have professional manner and respect the confidentiality of administrative matters and files.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Recognizes basic problems, gather appropriate information and seeks the help of others in formulating a solution..

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
2+ years call center or similar customer service experience preferred.
Familiarity with ms sql and edi.
Working knowledge of ms office products.
