Zachary piper solutions is seeking a front end developer for an immediate opening on our application development teamThe application development team supports an intelligence customer who specializes in geospatial intelligence operationsThe team is currently providing capabilities enhancements and o&m support to web-based applications (react.js/java) that support collections operations.
Remote option:
Full remote
On-site days:
1-2 days out of the year for on-site meetings (travel reimbursement provided)
Cac/badging required at your local facility
Operations site:
Fort gordon, ga
Responsibilities for the front end developer:
The front end developer will be asked to support the execution of the customer`s requirements which include but are not limited to: designing, coding, and modifying enterprise web applications, from layout to function according to the customer`s vision.
Code, test, debug existing programs and programs in the development pipeline
Assist in preparing documentation of software design
Support requirement analysis, web development, and software integration efforts
Evaluate government and commercial web-based off the shelf (cots/gots) applications to specifications
Develop, test, and maintain technical web documentation to assist in application maintenance and deployment
Learn and explore best practices to implement application migration into an aws environment leveraging aws cloud/ec2, jenkins, git, maven, sonarqube, and docker (prior experience not necessary but is a plus)
Qualifications:
Must be a u.sCitizen with a cac card
Position can hold security clearances up to ts/sci ci poly but are not required (can upgrade clearances)
Must have a ba/bs degree in related field
Must possess at least 6 years of it related experience
Must possess at least 3+ years of web development
Must have experience with react.js, js, java, html, css, and api`s
Desired skill (not required but preferred):
Prior experience supporting or serving in military or intelligence environments
Experience in any of the following for cloud: aws (s3, ec2, rds, etc)
Experience in any of the following for development: apache httpd, css, mysql, postgresql/postgis, geoserver, rest, and or soap
Compensation:
Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000
