Role/responsibilities
Please note, this person can be remotely based, but ideally will sit on the east coast.
The commercial real estate (cre) lending sales professional is responsible for developing client relationships in cre origination, credit risk assessment and portfolio management domainsYou will have the opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders such as relationship managers, subject matter experts, and product development teamsYou will drive the sales process by identifying and targeting prospects, initiate new sales activity, and managing cycles to closureThis position will drive the development of business within respective territories and have the opportunity to up sell and cross-sell moody’s products used in cre and within credit origination and assessment as well as introduce new and expanded solutions.
As a cre lending sales professional you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and execute a business development plan for a defined territory
Use value-based selling approach to understand client decision making approach, priorities, and requirements.
Maintain a good understanding of moody’s products and value proposition by staying up to date on the latest product developments and features.
Engage key senior level stakeholders within financial institutions for discussions of best practices and innovations in credit risk management.
Up-sell and cross-sell moody’s solutions and influence key decision-makers during the sales process.
Qualifications
3 – 15+ years of sales experience in the financial services sector including but not limited to cre, banking, fin-tech, or professional services; enterprise software sales experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to meet sales quota, effectively negotiate and close deals
Experience working with cre banking, credit risk measurement and/or management solutions, often through experience in one or more functional domains (e.g., origination, underwriting, credit risk analysis, loan processing, portfolio management)
Strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
Willingness to stay up to date on the latest products and features.
Bachelor’s degree required in finance, business administration, economics, communications, or related field
Must be fully vaccinated for covid-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination on start date, as determined by moody’s.
