At xpedition, telling great stories is at the heart of everything we doEach day, our team works together to produce heartfelt, human-driven content and events for clients like google, adidas, mckinsey & company, youtube, fitbit, ringcentral and discovery+Due to our fast growth and incoming slate of new projects, we are looking for a creative producer to join our team.
The role:
We are looking for a seasoned producer (preferably based in or near la county, ca) who is passionate about storytelling and creative projects -- someone who aims to help client visions come to life from start to finish! this will be a remote position working in pacific standard time.
The producer will lead/manage projects and report to a supervising producerProjects may include, but not limited to, documentary-style case study videos to demo videos, animation and motion graphics projects, sizzle reels, deck creation, and story research.
A working knowledge of filmmaking, photography, and/or graphic design a plus!
Responsibilities include:
Build a solid understanding of client asks to contribute/shepherd the creative execution.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously from ideation to execution and final delivery, ensuring all steps and deadlines are satisfactorily met.
Lead client relationships including building an understanding of the client needs, building rapport with day-to-day clients, leading agenda creation and presentations, communicating clearly and professionally with clients and stakeholders based on their preferences, and anticipating client needs whenever possible.
Maintain effective communications with clients, team members, talent, production partners, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables are in line with a client`s askIncluding coordinating and leading production meetings and client check-ins.
Assist with and/or oversee project briefs, attain releases and clearances, project research, write and/or review script drafts.
Build project timelines and workback schedules.
Review and oversee work by junior team members and/or project team members.
Interview story subjects as well as oversee the interview process by junior producers.
Generate and review interview transcriptions and select strong soundbites.
Source visual references, images, stock footage, music options.
Provide feedback on video cuts; ensure client input and feedback are addressed on deliverables.
Build or work on slide decks containing mood boards, creative treatments, etc.
Assist in directing video shoots as assigned.
What we`re looking for:
Min 2 years experience at a creative agency, production company, in-house creative team, or something similar.
Min 5 years experience in video production and storytelling.
Min 1 year with google workspace.
Has experience or high interest in working with branded projects, familiarizing with a client’s brand, and incorporating marketing messaging into creative projects.
Strong and influential presentation skills (ieStoryboards, scripts, etc) and can constructively address client feedback, questions, and concerns.
‘can do’ attitude with an outlook that no task is too small or unimportant.
Experience in both creative and logistic aspects of projects and content production.
Experience collaborating with motion graphics artists.
Capable of taking a client`s vision and turning it into compelling creative content.
Advanced leadership skills and can effectively lead a team through the creative process, anticipating project needs along the way.
Effective communicator (oral and written) with clients, team members, as well as all stakeholdersAnd comfortable bringing ideas and solutions to the table.
A highly organized team player that can also work independently with minimal supervision (in a remote environment).
Flexible, proactive, and able to work with tight deadlines.
Preferred qualifications:
Adobe premiere, after effects and/or photoshop
Travel:
Approx10-15% travel may be required
Schedule:
Mon-fri 9am-6pm pt with scheduling and work flexibility based on business needs.
This position is remote, can be located outside of la, and is required to work in pacific standard time.
Covid-19 precautions:
Employees must be fully vaccinated, including a booster, and will be required to follow any client requirements when on site.
