The production department owns the entire bidding and management of any xrs projectThey intake the client’s request and ideas, then realize them in a world class wayNot only do they supervise the execution of the concept, they oversee the technical implementation plan and execution.
Summary of the position
The xr executive producer is responsible for the accurate bidding and completion of a projectVia a team of xr producers they approve the budgets, calendars and crews while allowing xr producers to handle the detailsOccasionally, as required by workload or complexity they will manage projects directlyUltimately, they are responsible to the president for each project coming in on time and on budget with visually excellent resultsAdditionally, depending on needs and skill set they will be tapped for business development and marketing tasks.
Main responsibilities
Creates:
A system and staff to accommodate the management (not gear or facilities) of forecasted work
Production bids
Manage daily and termed project actuals
Create and present financial metrics
Lead pre-production meetings and manage production timeline
Managing and overseeing staffing needs
Outlining long and short-term working schedule
Supervise producers and associate producers
Creates opportunities by managing and growing network
Business development opportunities through a deep understanding of the business and of xr’s specific market
Project forecasting, taking into account timelines and industry trends
Approves:
Budgeting and finance decisions
Shooting budgets
High level crew hiring on a per-project basis
Show-reel material and client demonstrations
Project initiatives and changes
Technical requirements per project, and any special technical requirements required for a specific project
Owns:
Final approval in conjunction with the head of sales and marketing
All project finances including bids and on-going project management
Project status reports
A strong and diverse network of top talent and connections
Crew and company transportation and logistics
Job close-out processes
Ensuring end product is up to client and studio standards
Client satisfaction
Reports and presentations for stakeholders
Communicates finalized sow to project manager and team
Requirements of the of the position
Experience:
10 years of production experience
5 years in a decision-making role –pre-production an asset

In-depth knowledge of the entertainment industry, including workflows and timeline norms
Client relations and client management experience
In-depth knowledge of production management
Shoot day logistics and coordination
Crew management and approval
Budget reconciliation and asset management
Back-office production strategies as well as on-set experience
Ability to work with speed and diligence, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Recognized for your ability to work well and collaboratively problem-solve as part of a diverse team
Excellent computer and technical literacy skills (ms office, standard editing and productions software);
Experience and demonstrated success with fast-growing, multi-site organizations;
