The production department owns the entire bidding and management of any xrs projectThey intake the client’s request and ideas, then realize them in a world class wayNot only do they supervise the execution of the concept, they oversee the technical implementation plan and execution.
Summary of the position
The associate producer is responsible for assisting the producer and the executive producer in creating bids, managing billing, and overseeing the smooth running of each and every project from a financial and operational standpointThey are responsible for report the accurate status of projects in pre-production, shooting, and post-production, and assisting the producer and the executive producer with all tasks related to on-boarding new clients to project wrap.
Main responsibilities
Creates:
Assists in creating and maintaining records of production bids and estimates
Assisting in crew staffing and maintaining crew logs
Logging daily project actuals
Maintaining and updating all studio and production calendars, and sharing information to all relevant parties
Organizing pre-production meetings, and ensuring all department heads and other key individuals are updated
Organizing and implementing the wrap out process
Taking direction on the creation and maintenance of a production book per client
Owns:
Assisting in smooth shoot day operations
Handling data input into d365, google suits, excel, and other relevant tracking tools
Assisting in organization of crew transport and logistics, both for internal crew members and client crew needs
Assisting producer in managing invoices, net payment dates, and all inbound and outbound payments
Providing accurate and details updates on project status and
Requirements of the of the position
Experience:
2 years of production experience
Management or coordination experience a plus
Specific requirements :
Familiarity with d365 a plus
In-depth knowledge of the entertainment industry, including workflows and timeline norms
Client relations and client management experience
In-depth knowledge of production management
Shoot day logistics and coordination
Ability to work with speed and diligence, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Recognized for your ability to work well and collaboratively problem-solve as part of a diverse team
Excellent computer and technical literacy skills (ms office, standard editing and productions software);
Experience and demonstrated success with fast-growing, multi-site organizations;
Proven client focus, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to exercise judgment and maintain confidentiality;
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
