The senior inside sales rep uses their knowledge of clinical effectiveness products and considerable sales experience to grow a defined book of existing accounts through both retention of existing revenue and upsell/cross-sell efforts related to lexicomp online, mobile and book solutions for healthcare providers within an assigned territoryThe senior inside sales rep is responsible for managing a list of approximately 2,000 assigned accounts to ensure timely renewal of subscriptions annuallyThey will also use a consultative approach to evaluate customer needs and identify upsell opportunities including more extensive packages, add on products and additional usersThe senior inside sales rep will work with inbound prospects to identify and validate customer needs in order to offer the proper solutionFollowing acceptance of proposal, will process all account creation, product and log in set up and contracting procedures as needed to obtain final signature and finalize order.
Achieves or exceeds assigned renewal and new sales targets
Maintains accurate and up to date renewal status within crm system; documents all activity in crm system
Develops and maintains strong knowledge of full portfolio of assigned products, and general knowledge of all clinical effectiveness offerings
Maintains general knowledge of competitive solutions
Builds and fosters on-going relationships with customers to add value and advance renewals and sales of additional products
Renews subscriptions for assigned book of business, with upsell and sale of additional products as appropriate
Moves new opportunities through sales pipeline and closes with appropriate solution
Works with cas team to insure all contracted renewals are executed on time
Provides ad-hoc customer support and issue routing to technical support
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Requirements: education: college degree or equivalent work experience experience:
5+ years of prior work experience, preferably in a similar insides sales position.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key contacts, a plus if background is with pharmacies and/or dental providers.
Excellent account management skills and ability to manage external and internal business priorities
Ability to demonstrate and communicate value of sophisticated and complex products and solutions
Highly motivated, with proven ability to over-achieve individual and team based targets
