Witt o’brien’s government solutions group seeks an eligibility review specialist team manager who is passionate about facilitating positive change in the lives of people impacted by covid-19The team manager will be responsible for supporting a rapidly deployed public sector emergency housing assistance program, a turnkey grant implementation solution that is part of our covid-19 relief package of technical assistance and support services.
The team manager will lead a team of 4-10 eligibility review specialists and will be responsible for oversight, development, and training of eligibility review specialists and for ensuring the team’s timely and accurate application reviews.

Essential job functions
Manage, train and lead eligibility review specialist team in understanding and applying the relevant federal regulations, policies and procedures that inform the emergency rental assistance program.
Ensure applications are reviewed and are compliant with applicable regulations.
Train eligibility review specialist in application evaluation procedures, track eligibility of recommended grant awards and ensure an accurate review of required documentation.
Provide support and technical assistance to management and clients on policy and procedures for implementing an emergency rental assistance programs in an effective and compliant manner.
Provide reports and analysis to management as requested.
Triage any issues within the case management team.
Participate in hiring process, employee appraisals/ performance reviews and employee related matters.
Minimum job requirements
Three years of supervisory experience leading teams of 4-10 case managers.
8-10 years of experience managing federal grants, preferably hud, cdbg, cdbg-dr.
Experience working with online grant management systems.
Must be a highly detail-oriented and experienced overseeing program compliance requirements, record keeping guidelines, and application closeout requirements.
Experience with customer-service orientation and team building.
