Full job description
Senior software developer responsible for the maintenance and development of voip applications for the officesuite platform portfolio of cloud ucaas services.
The developer will be required to learn the officesuite platform product portfolio and the design and implementation of the systems very quicklyThey will be required to leverage and apply state of the art software development methodology and technology to implement new product features and to evolve the reliability, maintainability, and scalability of the products.
Responsibilities:
Full lifecycle software development using agile methodologyFocus on system-level features for the silhouette cloud voip application server, nowmessage cloud voicemail application, and openlink cloud media server.
Technical ownership of system functions and technologies such as virtualization, linux, system automation, system management, security, continuous integration and continuous delivery mechanisms, scalability, high availability, apis and middleware, and data management.
Troubleshooting and technical support of production systems
Working independently as well as working in a cross-functional team.
Job requirements
Minimum requirements:
Demonstrated track record of high quality, innovative, full-lifecycle cloud software development.
Experience with linux system development, python, java, voip, real-time software, and virtualization.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well both within a team and unsupervised.
Demonstrated ability to construct designs, estimate development effort, coordinate developers, deliver to development plans, and clarify ambiguity.
Understanding of high-availability and carrier-grade software development methodology.
Desirable: security, sip, rest, relational databases, networking.
Maintain knowledge of state-of-art software development methodology and technology.
8 years in software design and development experience in telecom
4 years linux software development
