Westmont hospitality group incIs actively seeking a dynamic, exceptionally knowledgeable and hands on corporate director of sales and marketing to join our phenomenal corporate teamThis position is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of a portfolio of 25 full service, upper upscale and multi branded hotels, ensuring exceptional sales resultsPosition is remote-based and requires 50-60% travel across the united states.
The corporate director of sales and marketing is responsible for implementing sales and marketing objectives across the portfolioThey will facilitate the performance and revenue goals at each managed hotel by providing leadership, direction and strategiesWork closely with dosms to effectively communicate industry trends and develop strategies to increase revenues across the brandThey will take an active role in each hotel’s annual marketing plans with measurable and specific initiatives detailed to maintain and grow each business segment.
Essential job functions:
Manage all aspects of the sales and marketing division: provide the strategic vision for maximum hotel sales generation and optimal revenue growthThis position will facilitate training and support to the hotels in all sales areas including business planning, performance tracking, trouble shooting and hands-on engagement with the property sales teams.
Effectively channel your knowledge of the competitive landscape: assess the effectiveness of company programs to determine optimum revenues using westmont system reports and market data, in order to innovate.
Forge relationships and build rapport: cultivate, enhance and leverage external and internal relationships to elevate hotel and market share awareness and drive business.
Commitment to task: demonstrates dependability and shows a sense of urgency about getting results; willing to commit the hours it takes to get the job completed; takes responsibility for actions and achieves results; overcomes obstacles.

Required/preferred competencies, experience and education:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for team work
Must have complete knowledge and understanding of multiple sales systems
Effective in leadership and mentorship for hotel sales teams
Passion and commitment to the position at an ownership level
Must work with integrity and be ethical at all times
Work well under pressure and meet or beat deadlines
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in full service hotels and multi property/brand sales oversight
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or related field, is preferred
Requires more than 50% travel
