The business development / account manager role is responsible for developing long-term relationships beverage & premium spirits portfolio of customers and prospects, connecting with key stakeholders, and acting as liaison between those customers and cross-functional, internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutionsWork with innovation leaders on specific projects as the solutions develop; link to machinery; and work in collaboration with other team members to support the long-term success of customers.
How you will impact westrock
Combining westrock strengths in food & beverage machinery, substrates and innovative packaging design is the basis for establishing clear offers, answers, and solutions.
With a focus to co-ordinate and bring together the westrock innovations of plastic replacement in the end-market for beverage application and other solutions.
Success will be demonstrated by an output related in growth (tons, sales, market share, etc.) comparing year over year growth.

Required knowledge, skills, abilities
Excellent interpersonal, customer service and negotiation skills.
Experiential knowledge of westrock manufacturing, machinery platforms, and graphics processes
Experiential knowledge of the customer-supply relationship
Multiple task-oriented and project management
Intermediate computer skills in a variety of applications and westrock programs
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Four-year college degree in related field of study
10+ years of related experience
Working conditions & general work requirements
Work from office with flexibility to work remotely
Travel as required (north america) to customer sites and wrkproduction sites – proximity to a major airport would be a plus
Follow westrock safety guidelines, along with any customer safety protocols
