Full job description
This role is for a freelance designer, with a focus on digital production, working on our west elm global design teamYou will be collaborating with brand designers, project managers, global ecommerce site managers, merchants, and copywriters in order to create brand-right and compelling creative.
Roles and responsibilities:
Design and deliver emails and digital assets for the west elm global websites.
Organize, package and upload design files for production.
Proactively collaborate and communicate with the us creative team to pick up creative files for translation into global markets.
Work nimbly
Ensure that all work created is brand-right and accurate, following brand guidelines so that there is parity to the us site and creative.
Translate brand and business objectives into impactful online and digital marketing assets to acquire, convert and retain customers.
Collaborate and work with cross-functional global partners on creating brand-right designs.
Organize and maintain design folders and files.
Attend all necessary meetings virtually
Qualifications and requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in digital/graphic design, or related field.
2-4 years of experience working in digital design, preferably in an ecommerce setting.
A portfolio that demonstrates strong digital design skills
Proficiency in adobe xd, photoshop and illustratorExperience in zeplin and sketch is a plus.
Basic understanding of html and css a plus.
Strong ownership and visual design eye with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
Strong project management skills and ability to take ownership of projects and tasks.
Ability to work independently and collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams.
You flourish in a fast-paced, results-driven ecosystem.
Strong communicator both verbally and in writing.
Meticulously organized.
Must be able to work remotely in eastern standard time.
Create and nurture a diverse and inclusive brand and work environment.
