Due to growth, our corporate hq office located in plymouth, mn is looking for an internal sales specialist i partner programsThis role is responsible for supporting our regional vice presidents (rvps) – who are the primary point of contact for our custodial partners in each sales territory – in their pursuit of new partner and client relationshipsThey are an integral part of the business unit s rapid-response team and best-in-class support structureThe role requires a broad understanding of wealth management practices and financial planningAn ideal candidate is an energetic relationship builder with a passion for sales and business development, top notch organizational and communication skills, and a strong sense of urgency.
Job functions
Proactive partner outreach
Profile new partner relationships to develop regionally
Analyze competitors` data and provide conservation support
Create & identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach to partners
Provide sales & follow-up support remotely
Reactive rapid response
Acknowledge incoming referrals with internal processors for immediate action
Make initial contact with referring external partner in optimal response time
Help process leads in company systems for rvp and advisor access
Set meetings & assist in the sales process overall
Sales team support
Partner with regional sales leadership to oversee new business pipeline
Coordination with central support teams on sales related activity
Other duties and obligations as reasonably assigned or requested
Education & qualifications
4-year degree in business, financial services or related field (preferred)
2+ years applicable experience, ideally in financial services
Finra series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) not required but may be beneficial
Basic knowledge of ria and custodial platforms and investment products
Strong oral, written and presentation skills
Ability to train and coach others
Software: microsoft office; salesforce
Must be in good compliance standing with all rules, regulations and policies
