About the role: we are looking for a vendor program specialist to join our performance solutions divisionIn this role you will provide inside sales support for products that are the hightest quality and value in their classYou will be working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teamsThis role offers the opportunity to split time between a facility in elkton, maryland, and a remote home office.
This role is responsible for the overall management of the global vendor central and vendornet platforms
Investigate and resolve issues with chargebacks, shortage claims, price claims, inventory disposal and returns; processes disputes and responds to product complaints in a timely and effective manner
Work with logistics to investigate lost and delayed shipments; create credits for shipping errors based on chargebacks
Work collaboratively across functions to drive necessary platform compliance requirements
Facilitates and manages all orders through platform interface
Directed initiatives to automate vendor data and maintain controls to smooth validation and acceptance processes
Coordinating customer needs with gore, building strong customer relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Providing customer phone support and ensuring phone coverage
Providing feedback and actively participating in process improvement
Bachelor`s degree and at least 1 year of sales/portal support experience, or a minimum of 2 years inside sales experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of erp systems, quality systems, and other supporting systems including generating system reports (order status, shipment reports, etc.)
Experience working in a vendor portal like amazon vendor central and vendornet
Self-motivated and resourceful with a proven ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective communication skills (both oral and written) including listening skills
The ability to multitask, be flexible, prioritize, organize and follow-through
Able to accomodate a large, complex workload using good judgment to make sound decisions with strong attention to detail
Order process management, entering data into internal systemsSet up, implement, manage, and support e-commerceCreate and manage ba’s, debit notes, credit notes and invoicing where required.
Experience working with internal and external customers (both domestic and international) in a professional manner with a strong focus on process improvement.
Ability to travel up to 5%
E1, sap, portal & edi experience
