Drive deep penetration through contract utilization analysis for primary accountsThis process includes gathering information on total ap spend, wholesaler and distribution utilizationThen identify where vizient has programs and services to meet mhhs’s needs.
Implement with mhhs appropriate locs that will drive lower costs to mhhs and increased contract compliance to vizient’s agreementsFollow up to make sure that signed locs are implemented at mhhs within the agreed upon timelines, measuring the impact and insuring sustained cost or service impact to mhhs.
Manage mhhs participation in vizient’s portfolio of products across all product categories (med/surg, ppi, rx, purchased services, capital), identifying opportunities to increase mhhs total value (savings, rebates, product knowledge).
Work with mhhs, manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors to resolve price discrepancies, loads contracts, obtains additional contract information not provided in catalog, and researches product alternativesManage supplier issues related to gpo.
Educate mhh on vizient’s software products, clinical pharmacy program, collaboratives and other relevant programs and services.
Complete other projects as assigned and approved by vizient.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5 or more years of relevant experience required.
Sales/account management experience required.
Experience analyzing and interpreting general business documents, writing reports and business correspondence, and effectively presenting information.
Experience analyzing data.
Experience working with complex clients who may have multiple sites.
Able to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
