Assess and prioritize the key multi-site employers in their service area, noting the location of wellbeing and benefit program decision-making, potential lives in their service area and key elements of current health benefit offerings.
Identify, assess, and prospect with target organizations based on member feedback.
Cultivate prospects and identify areas of receptivity.
Schedule meetings to begin or accelerate the sales process for target employers.
Identify key elements to be included in a crm to capture and report on targets and outreach efforts.
Make calls to promote lead generation events and follows up with online prospects, using crm system to track progress.
Send materials via mail and email to target employers.
Create, maintain, and work living pipeline of new supplier opportunities.
Deliver new direct to employer contracts for members.
Represent vizient and support sales team at prospecting or trade show events.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred
5 or more years’ experience managing large enterprise accounts required.
Prior experience in the health and benefits domain, such as health system management, insurance management, benefits management, or service delivery.
Ability to influence c-suite and develop relationships vertically and horizontally within accounts needed.
Prior experience prospecting for revenue opportunities, building strategic offerings and executing.
Willingness to travel to support closing new business, strategy meetings with members, and industry events.
