The rpa developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of rpa driven automation throughout the organizationThis position will review business processes, create technical documentation, complete testing, and provide production support for our automation environmentThe successful candidate will have previous development experience and hands on experience with rpa tools.
Duties & responsibilities:
Understand and analyze manual business processes to determine automation initiatives
Develops and delivers automated business processes through robotic technologyDeploy rpa components including bots, robots, development tools, code repositories and logging tools.
Develops and maintains technical documents, user testing scripts, approvals, and other relevant documentation throughout development of automation processes
Assists the team in deployment, support, evaluation of potential rpa processes, and change management
Works with the it department to understand impacts of patches/upgrades to existing systems/technology
Participates in code reviews and troubleshooting as necessary with internal and external resources
Updates and maintains developer standards around rpa best practicesCreates process and end-user documentation.
Designs, develops and tests rpa automation workflows and supports the launch and implementation of rpa solutionsAssures the quality of the automation (qa processes).
Works with business analysts, scrum masters, qa analysts, product owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
Collaborates with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.
Supports deployments or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and participate in an on-call rotation as-needed.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
Alignment with vitamix’s culture and core which defines its purpose, mission, and values.
Proficient in microsoft office, especially word, outlook, powerpoint, and excel
Hands on experience on rpa tools and cognitive platforms such as uipath, blue prism, automation anywhere, etcUipath experience is highly preferred.
Understanding of object oriented programming, mvc, design patterns and solid principles.
Experience with object relational mapping frameworks
Experience with relational databases and sql
Basic programming knowledge on html, javascript, and web development frameworks (angularjs, bootstrap, jquery)
Able to design technical specification documents
Experience developing and consuming apis.(soap, rest)
Expertise around vitamix competencies: accountability, strategic vision, creativity, detail orientation, critical thinking, process oriented, drive for results
Uipath rpa developer certifications preferred but not required (training can be provided).
Experience with agile development methodology.
Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Understanding of workflow-based and event-based logic.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Superior time and project management skills.
Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods.
Ability to work through ambiguous situations.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.
2+ years’ experience in any of the programming languages such as c# .net.c/c++, python, java
Bachelor`s degree in business, information technology, computer science, or related field required; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
