Overview:
Mid-level developer with basic skills and moderate level of proficiencyHas general understanding of principles in one or more programming languagesAt least one systems development life cycle model (agile, iterative)This individual will have the curiosity to learn the latest technologies, keep up with latest frameworks and it trends, work in a fast-paced retail environment and be part of a dynamic team to deliver quality products to the business
Responsibilities:
Reviews technical designs; provides input to technical lead and produces sound code according to defined standards
Conducts sound quality unit testing practices
Follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards
Review and understanding of technical specification/user story with acceptance criteria
Participates in estimation of their work
Development of code to meet specification
Creation of automated unit test cases for code coverage and execution
Defect resolution during all cycles of testing
Executes for results, focus on delivery with quality and performance in mind
Communicates status, issues to technical lead/manager on a weekly basis
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in computer science or similar academic and/or work project experience
2-5 years of experience in relevant technologies
Experience needs to relate to golang, java programming language
Demonstrated application through project work
Working knowledge with version control systems
Working knowledge with ci/cd tracking tool (jenkins, teamcity etc.) is required
Working knowledge with developer management tools such as jira, confluence is required
Experience with agile scrum is a must
Experience with consuming restful web services is a must
Experience with building with microservices based architecture is a plus
Knowledge with golang, java, json, restful, modern frameworks is a must
Working knowledge of database concepts including sql and nosql
Experience with agile scrum is a plus
Experience with multiple programming languages is a plus
