Job responsibilities
As a software and network automation engineer, you will help set up full automated pipelines for satcom systems including remote modems, antenna systems, and ground station equipmentYou will interface and collaborate with system, software, and hardware engineers as new capabilities are developed and transitioned into serviceIn addition, you will provide support to our expanding lab facilities by being able to set up new networking architecture.
Requirements
Bachelor`s degree or higher in computer science, networking, electrical engineering, and/or a related field or relevant experience
8+years’ of experience coding in python or similar language(s)
8+ years’ experience in tcp/ip network fundamentals
8+ years’ experience in accurate software development methodologies
Position will be a remote opportunity or hybrid if incumbent lives near a viasat office.
