Overview
We are looking for a strong customer success sales manager to help drive sales and customer success with our customers across all of our brandsYou will be instrumental in helping to build out the outbound sales division at veylWith an extremely fast-growing customer base, this is a great opportunity to build and drive a high-performance best-in-class customer success team.
Responsibilities
Build a world-class inbound and outbound sales organization to drive customer engagement, acquisition, and increase ltv
Oversee solidifying and scaling the outbound sales process
Direct leader of up to 4 sales leaders and ~30 indirect reports
Responsible for the recruiting, hiring, goal setting, and performance management of the sales department
Develop and deliver channel, product, and revenue sales forecasting and present to management
Act as a key partner to cross-functional leadership by delivering and developing programs that improve sales competencies, forecasting, and high-level selling skills
Partner with key department leaders to scope and implement operational and technical improvements to advise strategic decision-making
Track and monitor performance towards weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals including call and email cadences, connect, and conversion rates.
Establish relationships with cross-functional teams and attend meetings to align team objectives with the overall organizational goals
Develop processes and procedures to implement functional strategies
Identify long and short term sales opportunities and engage the appropriate cross-functional teams and resources to capitalize on these opportunities
Build and maintain, in collaboration with hr and the vp of customer success, an end-to-end sales onboarding process that certifies new sales hires on company strategy, product benefits, and sales processes.
Requirements
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of multichannel sales management experience required
Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a fast-paced, high-growth company
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience in building highly effective and highly efficient sales campaigns
Proven track record of high performance in both b2b and b2c environments
Strong experience collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and reporting sales performance data and using it to make strategic decisions
Proven ability to ramp sales reps in a systematic way through the development of training programs focused on products, processes, and selling techniques
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, multitask with high attention to detail
Excellent working knowledge of inbound and outbound prospecting technologies, tools, and service vendors
Able to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and develop strong working relationships
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
