Vector security networks is hiring for director of sales (remote)The position is responsible for leading the vsn sales efforts to maintain and expand relationships with multi-location companiesResponsibilities include strategic leadership, sales talent development, the implementation and management of best practices, sales processes and new business development initiatives.
Sales strategy and planning:
Manage a team of national account managers (nams) and customer account managers across the united states and canada.
Develop strong relationships with vsn customers, prospects and service providers in the physical security and mns space.
Create and execute strategies for developing new business and achieving the company’s sales targets.
Ensure that the sales team utilizes the customer relationship management platform and maintains an up to date sales funnel and pipeline.
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
Manage sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
Makes presentations to and negotiate with executive level customers.
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.
Facilitate daily, weekly and monthly meetings with team.
Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth.
Hire and develop sales team.
Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable team to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
