The nurse supervisor organizes and directs the work of the triage teamCoordinates staff to assure that effective nursing services are provided, and quality standards are metThe nurse supervisor is responsible for providing telephonic clinical assessments utilizing approved medical protocols per policy and recommending an appropriate level of clinical care based on clinical judgment and protocols staffing consists of rns, lpn’s, and customer service representativesA multidisciplinary team approach to care is utilizedThe function of the clinical nurse supervisor is to develop and maintain an environment that supports all the staff in the nurse triage department.
Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of lpns, rns, and support teams
Assist the team with digital and telephonic triage during high volume periods
Impact of work is at the team and patient level

Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

This is a fast call center environmentDepartment hours of operations: 8pm – 8am supporting various time zonesRns night shifts including required rotating weekends and some holidays will be determined by the business.
This is a telecommute position that requires an active registered nurse compact licenseCandidates must be able to easily obtain additional non-compact state licenses upon request

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Current unrestricted rn licensure in applicable state
5+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience and success leading a clinical team
Familiarity with emr systems
Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to individual needs
Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of clinical risk
Flexible and function well under demanding conditions
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (bsn)
Telephonic triage and hospital experience
Solid communication skills and the ability to relate to and influence people at all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to lead and motivate the team
