Job Description
We are looking for a Manager to join our growing AdOps team. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with a background in paid advertising and experience managing a team. You will be an integral member of a growing team, working closely with the Account Management team members to meet clients' KPIs and always exceed client expectations.
What you'll do:
Manage execution for fortune 500 brands as an individual contributor, as well as overseeing a group of direct reports on the Account Management team.
Manage at least 6 direct reports - coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
Work closely with the rest of the management team to identify areas of opportunity that will improve team efficiencies
Lead employees to success using a performance management and development process that provides the framework to encourage employee contribution. Including goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
Coach and teach team members to be successful in their role and provide critical feedback to ensure they understand areas of improvement and can act on them to remain on the right path
Work with Management & HR to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees
Help to define root cause of issues on the team and in campaigns and work to outline the issue and ways to prevent from happening again
Who you are:
You have expert knowledge and experience running paid social advertising campaigns for Fortune 500 brands.
You have experience managing a team of people
You exhibit leadership skills, and know how to coach and encourage teammates around you
You're analytical, organized and results driven
You're comfortable leading internal meetings
You’re both a long-term and short-term problem solver, able to put out today’s fire while also addressing the root cause.
You’re startup-ready - not looking for a 9-to-5. You’re flexible and can adjust to a rapidly changing business.
You’re a team-oriented problem solver and when the pressure is on, you keep your cool
You’re a Facebook/Twitter/Linkedin/Instagram/YouTube addict who understands and appreciates social media
Need to have:
Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
Management experience, training and coaching direct reports.
Experience with Facebook ads, Twitter ads, YouTube ads, or other RTB media buying and optimization tools
Good understanding of web technologies (pixels, html, javascript)
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
Experience with website tracking tools such as Google Analytics
