Under general direction is responsible for providing support to the regional sales teams to drive profitable revenue growth of the domestic and international household goods business lines and the logistics/special products business lines through direct business development and by supporting the agency family’s sales effortsResponsibilities include increasing market share, the growth of the sales and corporate initiatives such as but not limited to snapmoves and contract price/term improvementsAdditional responsibilities may include accountability for select key accounts including direct and 3rd party companies, supporting rfp, rfi and rfq submissions and maintaining and updating crm.
The work location for this role is flexible if approved by unigroup except this position may not be performed remotely from colorado.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Working with the regional sales teams to review sales reports, provide advice and address challenges
Identify new sales opportunities and interact with the current sales team to increase sales of the organization`s products and/or services.
Stay abreast of changes in the industry and markets.
Identify revenue opportunities at the corporate account and agency level for household goods and logistics business lines.
Design and recommend sales and marketing programs and assist in setting short and long-term sales strategies.
Assist the regional sales team in developing presentations for agent and corporate customer business reviews.
Assist the unigroup sales team and agents in the development and implementation of account and market specific sales strategies.
Provides regular reports to management regarding activities and suggested strategies.
Represent the company at various tradeshows and events.
Perform a variety of other duties as assigned.
Education, license or certification:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience.
Experience:
Ability to adapt organizational changes to facilitate a total sales solution.
Must possess excellent selling skills to effectively represent the company and its agency system.
Demonstrated performance history of meeting/exceeding objectives and deadlines.
Highly effective analytical, decision-making, and written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to investigate complex business problems, develop effective recommendations, negotiate and/or present solutions, and resolve problems in a highly professional and tactful manner.
Highly organized and able to set priorities.
Ability to access, enter, modify, and retrieve data on a pc.
Potential for upwards of 30% travel as required for agent/client reviews and tradeshows.
