Business development manager is responsible for targeting and closing new customers, building customer relationships and driving new business by leveraging all of usat servicesThis individual will act as a business consultant to establish credibility with prospects and present logical economically beneficial solutionsThe business development manager will master our internal mission and structure to gain resources and efficiency to a results driven sales cycleWe are seeking hungry, competitive mindset talent that strives to win!
Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration
Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals
Provide leadership to the team, track performance, and report metrics
Develop and manage a sales pipeline, existing of new business opportunities
Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
Qualifications and education requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
2-4 years of sales experience (transportation sales preferred).
Knowledge of the fundamentals of the transportation industry and familiarity with industry leaders and competitors.
Successful track record in b2b sales and negotiation
Experience in full sales cycle including deal closingDemonstrated sales success
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working experience with sales techniques
