At the full performance level gs-14 the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
1Plans, prepares, reviews, and coordinates ocs lease sales packages and associated briefing materials for the bureau and the departmentApplies statutory and regulatory requirements in implementing boem`s ocs leasing programs.
2Serves as a program analyst and provides support on high-level ocs resource/energy issues, including lease sales, leasing regulations, policies, and related guidance, for the purpose of advancing boem`s mission and goals.
3Provides proactive coordination for lease sale planning and approval: (1) across osr divisions, other headquarters offices, boem`s regional offices, and the doi solicitor`s office; and (2) with staff or officials of federal, state, and local government agencies, public interest groups, industry, and private individuals.
4Monitors relevant legislative, regulatory, and policy developments related to offshore energy and minerals development.
5Identifies, researches and tracks relevant policy issues; assists in drafting policies, guidance documents and standard operating procedures; refers important issues and develops potential pathways and solutions for management consideration.
Boem has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.
Gs-12: ($87,198 - $113,362) per annumGs-13: ($103,690 - $134,798) per annumGs-14: ($122,530 - $159,286) per annum.
First time hires to the federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level.
