Job summary: the position is responsible for representing the npp crop portfolio including the pronutiva solutions aligned with a crop teamThis position will support the local upl commercial team for row and specialty crops with internal and external customersThe primary objective of this role is to support the local upl sales team with product training, key joint upl/npp sales calls, meetings and their external distributor, retail, and key grower customersCoordination with the technical service team is essential to integrate npp products into the upl business.
Essential duties and responsibilities:

Npp sales specialist for bio-products
Work closely with npp technical service and marketing team to insure alignment of messages and communication for the sales team with a crop focus
Represent npp commercially to upl customers and sales team to train and position npp products for specific crop use and program integration.
Develop close working relationship with technical service team to implement technical bulletins and pronutiva concepts to help position products for the best agronomic useIntegrate bio-portfolio into our conventional recommendations
Utilize npp technology and product tools to help deliver key bio technical messages effectively with high retention.
Develop and own the npp growth/sales action plan with the local upl sales team within the local territory/region.
Steward bio products for a sustainable portfolio.
Call on strategic accounts within the direction of the local upl sales management with the local upl tsm
Work closely with customer technical teams via the upl sales team and other critical cro’s to build the best agronomic recommendations for our biological product portfolio
Participate in product launch teams to advise of product performance and help position new products for launch
Assist the local upl sales team in building the npp sales action plan and drive its implementation within the territory.
Manage the npp sales territory with accountability to the sales objectives.

Requirements/qualifications:
Valid department of transportation driver’s license
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in agricultural or related discipline with at least 5 years of experience with bio agricultural products is requiredMaster degree level preferred
Ability to independently create positioning information for products
Must be able to present clear, concise data to individuals and in a group setting.
Strong organizational skills and problem solving is required to increase the efficiency of output from the team.
Ability to network inside and outside the organization to discuss new and existing technologies and their impact on npp products.
Ability to respond to changing priorities and high degree of flexibility.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication; and interpersonal skills.
Intermediate experience with ms office products (word/excel/outlook/powerpoint)
Within california, a pca license is requiredOutside of california, licensing required as appropriate.
