As part of ukg’s transformation organization, the principal change management consultant will report to the manager of change management and work with the change management team to create and implement effective change management strategies and plans that focus on the people side of change specifically aligned to ukg’s global delivery services organization – helping employees navigate through change, maximizing employee adoption and usage, and minimizing resistance to change.
The principal change management consultant supports leadership/sponsorship coaching plans/activities and partners with project teams to integrate change management activities into their project plans, all to increase employee adoption and usage.
The principal change management consultant will participate in the community of change management professionals across ukg to drive partnership, best practice and knowledge sharing, and consistent enterprise-wide change management efforts.
This role will involve working with leaders and team members, as well as other stakeholders across the company including change management partners, business partners, employee communications, talent, and learning, to ensure a consistent, clear, and impactful flow of information to drive behavior change and ultimately adoption.
Develop and execute change management strategies and activities within global
Delivery services and cross-functionally with global services partners across ukg,
Leverage and adapt enterprise change management best practices, processes, and tools in partnership with the transformation change management team (i.e., change impact analysis, change agent networks, change management data reporting, change management toolkits)
Establish change management as a strategic capability within global services through application of change management on initiatives as well as change management capability building
Participate in the enterprise change management community network of change practitioners as a global services change representative
(knowledge, skills and abilities)
5 + years of experience in organizational change management
3+ years of experience of excellent people, coaching, and mentoring skills
5+ years experience with supporting various organizational changes (people, process, technology)
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
Problem solving and root cause identification skills
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
Ability to adapt and innovate quickly through ambiguity and complexity
(experience, education, certification, license and training)
Bachelor’s degree in communication, organizational change management or other industry related curriculum preferred
Prosci change management certification required
Prior experience in a software/saas environment, experience in technology, business process changes, implementation of enterprise-wide technology applications, e.gProfessional services automation (psa) and salesforce automation
