Overview:
Two barrels is hiring a software engineer for $85,000/yearYou will be a traditional company employeeThis is a full time 40 hour/week position with company benefits.
Two barrels is always hiring great software engineersWe primarily code in ruby and javascript, and use ruby on rails and vue as our frameworksIn this position you will work with our mid software engineers and senior software engineers to work towards becoming a valuable part of our ruby engineering team.
This position is for engineers who have a few years’ of relevant web-based engineering experience and want to work towards developing new skillsEventually our goal is for you to become an expert in ruby on rails to help make a big impact on our company.

Responsibilities:
Develop software with ruby, javascript, and willing to learn and help out with our aws infrastructure
Learn ruby and rails
Help us consistently release high-end software
Contribute with bugs, and smaller parts of large projects
Have a growth mindset, not a fixed mindset
Minimum qualifications:
Bs in computer science or 4 years of related experience in web development
1-3 years professional experience with fulls tack application development
Experience with front-end web development, html, css, javascript
Experience with another web frameworks like laravel, django, express, angular, react, ember, backbone, etc
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with designing, building, and maintaining web application, preferably the front-end and back-end
Experience with vue, docker, and aws
Able to work in an agile environment with a focus on continuous integration and continuous development
Familiar with the services within aws: ecs, ec2, ecr, s3, rds and route53
