Manufacturing sales representative / safety
Truck fall prevention was formed to develop a safety system that would prevent drivers and workers from falling off open deck trailers and suffering severe and sometimes life-changing injuries.
Truck fall prevention manufactures and sells the nofalls safety system to some of the largest companies in the usaIt is lightweight, easy to install with just one person, portable, and can be put up and taken down quickly from the ground or left up permanently.
Nofalls is utilized on walking surfaces and open deck trailers at construction sites, warehouses, distribution facilities, and manufacturing plantsNofalls meets all osha fall prevention standards and is dot compliant.

Responsibilities will include:
Directly sell our nofalls safety system and services to new and existing customers.
Identify customers, make contact, educate customer on the benefits of our product and services (presentation), overcome objections, relate to customer`s needs, show how our product meets those needs, apply proper technology to the application, relate data to customer`s needs, generate proposal, present proposal, close the deal.
Build and maintain new customer relationships to ensure maximum customer retention
Contribute to the development of an annual sales plan and sales strategy for new and existing market penetration to ensure sales and profitability goals are achieved.
Communicate and coordinate efforts with our senior nofalls management group
Ensure that sales leads are followed and that their disposition is documented
Input account and customer contact information and all opportunities
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
Position qualification requirements
Experience:
Requires a minimum of 5+ years` experience in equipment, process system, or safety related products / industries
Experience in the safety, trucking and logistics industry a plus
Skills and abilities:
Knowledge of customer requirements & current market conditions
Proficiency with pc and windows operating system, microsoft office suite including contact resource management (crm) software
Proven presentation skills at an advanced level
Technical skills and knowledge regarding safety technologies & solutions
Sound sales and customer skills
Capacity to develop written proposals to capture all critical components of the sale
Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit
High degree of diplomacy and the ability to deal with and influence persons in all types of positions within the company and externally
Travel requirements:
Up to 20% travel on company business predominantly in the great lake’s region.
Education:
Bachelor`s degree in engineering preferred
