Location: remote, close to major airport in the territory (la, phoenix, las vegas, etc.)

The regional sales manager – dsd will be responsible for setting and achieving sales objectives with
Dsd partnersThey will focus attention on driving new business while delivering continued yoy
Growth within acquired accounts through sku portfolio expansion and promotionsThey will manage
Their territory p&l while building positive customer relationships in the channel(s).
For their territory, this individual will also manage the strategic direction for and provide leadership to tcs’s sales operations and administrative functions, to ensure efficient sales processes, reduced selling costs, promotional forecast accuracy, efficient trade execution, and excess inventory reduction.
Primary responsibilities
· deliver on key performance indicators for revenue, volume, and controllable expenses that maximize dsd opportunities for tillamook country smoker across all channels of trade in a multi-state territory within the southwest (focus), with other territory expansion possible
· responsible for recruiting new dsd partners, identifying new expansion opportunities, and developing strategies to improve product positioning, sales and margins
O utilize all available resources & data to increase new dsd prospects
· develop and maintain strong relationships with dsd partners/key accounts within specific regional markets, and execute distribution targets and promotion support programs in all classes of trade
· develop strategic plans to deliver on sales targets to grow overall business within acquired accounts
· engage dsd partners in all facets of planning route sales activity, including order management, daily distribution, merchandising, promotional activity, and holiday planning to meet the customers’ in-store expectations and sales targets
· utilize sales data to help drive effective decisions with dsd partners, as well as drive brand growth with customers through the acquisition of new distribution
· execute on all growth opportunities to grow market share through the execution of incremental distribution, placement, and displays
· maintain thorough understanding of customer and competitive snack environment by frequent market visits
· achieve gross profit targets and share growth targets within assigned markets & accounts
· effectively communicate/collaborate with tcs sales support team and finance to ensure market and account information is shared in a timely manner to drive team alignment of customer plans and objectivesThis to include, but not limited to, promotions, pricing, display execution, merchandising activity, service opportunities, and results

· category management- analysis of situations/data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factorsApplies good judgment in selecting methods/techniques/criteriaWorks closely with the customer to influence strategic execution and decision makingProvides category inputs to business planning process
· trade funds management-apply business acumen and analytical tools to make sound business decisions with trade funds and slotting recommendations
Experience required
Bachelor’s degree required
7+ years’ progressive experience in dsd/food cpg industry including at least 3 years in sales/sales-related roles (account management or field sales)Specific snack experience is preferred
Extensive experience & knowledge in developing and implementing strategic sales and business plans
Strong analytical skills, with ability to forecast sales revenue and prepare and maintain budgets (category management experience preferred)
High level of integrity, confidentially and accountability with strong work ethic and positive attitude
Proven ability to plan, prioritize and execute on sales plans
Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
Professional presentation and positive attitude
