The sustainable partnership is working closely with a leading renewable energy developer and operator who are actively seeking for an interconnection project engineer.
This client has a long-standing history in the renewables and power industry offering exposure to a wide portfolio of projects and a clear and defined career progression is available for candidates.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and understanding of interconnection procedures, queue, and transmission systems across different rto/iso’sExperience working with pjm/caiso/wecc is necessary for this roleYou will be supporting greenfield development, interconnection study processes, due diligence efforts and the implementation of portfolio projects.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing transmission system analysis
Identifying interconnection agencies and procedures
Preparing interconnection requests
Review and analysing reports
Identifying potential red flags for project acquisitions.
Candidate profile:
Bs in electrical engineering
Comfortable reviewing and running power flow models
Knowledge of interconnection studies
Understanding electrical diagrams and the preparation of interconnection request packages.
Awareness of transmission systems.
