Project engineer ii
We are looking for talented level ii microsoft systems engineers, who have experience working in smb environments as part of an mspWe use connectwise as our psa tool and strongly prefer someone with experience there.

We are looking for engineers who love a good challenge and problem solving, and working in a close team environmentCurrently, we are all working from homeAs the pandemic eases, depending on the day’s tasks, you might work in our office in greensboro, nc or at a client siteOccasional travel may be required.

Level ii desired skills and experience:
Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical knowledge of networking hardware and infrastructure
Understanding of data flows through the osi model
Experience with active directory, exchange, vmware, windows server 2019/2016/2012 r2
Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting: switches, firewalls, servers, access points
Experience with sonicwall and fortinet firewalls preferableExperience with dell, fortinet, and cisco switch preferable.
3+ years of experience as a systems engineer 1+ in an msp environment
Bachelor`s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
We’d also prefer someone familiar with:
Connectwise environment
Powershell scripting experience
Legal, human, and veterinary health, and/or financial practice management software
Example of duties and responsibilities:
Working from a ticketing system and using real-time time entry
Working with a team of engineers, project managers, and coordinators
Communicating (written and verbal) with end-users during decision-making and resolution
Remote deployment of network infrastructure and equipment
Handling tier ii ticket escalations from the service desk
