Job summary: the role of the powerpoint specialist (graphic designer) is to elevate dynamic content of presentations in powerpoint and other presentation media through robust graphic design practicesThe focus of this role is to design presentations that strengthen plan/brand awareness in all agency projects and pitch materials, and to ensure that design work across accounts meets lockwood’s quality standards.
Provide powerpoint and other presentation services for client projects, business development, and internal communications, including template design and application, figure redraws, document formatting, and animations.
Collaborate with lockwood teams to address their evolving creative and presentation needs.
Ensure adherence to and maintenance of relevant lockwood- and client-specific design guidelines.
Maintain and update powerpoint sop, list of frequently encountered powerpoint questions/issues, and list of team-specific requests and style preferences.
Assist strategic services/business development teams in putting together crucial documents (eg, bibliographies, pitch decks, bios, etc).
Manage work across several groups with tight deadlines and offer suggestions and recommendations to account team colleagues.
Technical and creative skills:
Possess a solid understanding of powerpoint and word in a pc environment; adobe creative suite; print and production processes.
Maintain a knowledge of relevant print and presentation design guidelines, ability to create novel design elements, and develop innovative approaches for presentations, as well as client and lockwood team preferences when working on specific accounts.
Review with a critical eye for creative elements and branding when requestedExamples include creation of brochures, scientific posters, powerpoint templates, building animations, creating hyperlinks, concepting visual representations of ideas and themes.
Education: a bachelor’s degree is required.
Professional skills & experience: 2+ years of relevant graphic or presentation design experience in a healthcare communications environment or related environment is requiredCandidates must have the ability to grasp and retain scientific information, along with a strong presentation design capabilities and working knowledge of microsoft office suite and adobe creative suite.
