The ideal candidate will be technical, self-motivated, strategic, and creativeThis role will work with our national accounts clients and brokers to improve working conditions, minimize risk, potentially improve productivity, and achieve better economic outcomesThe position will support our national accounts- central sales team.
This is a 100% remote work opportunity with regular travel (up to 30%) in and around il and surrounding states .
The scope of work includes assigned service book and account management, extensive loss trending and analysis, identification and tiering of opportunities, service strategy design and delivery, client and broker presentations and ongoing collaboration with hartford’s underwriting and claim business partners.
Highly motivated individual must have strong technical and consultative selling skills as well as a broad- based knowledge of risk management and risk engineering technical disciplinesWork experience in risk engineering is a mustThe hartford offers a cutting-edge automated environment providing our consultants with the tools and technology to make the job easierStrong computer skills are needed across the ms office suite of productsMust be proficient in the use of excel in order to analyze data; understand and communicate the implications of loss for our large deductible clients, understand the priorities of our large clients and collaborate with/influence them to focus on opportunities that will lead to loss elimination or reduction and potential increased productivityAdditional qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or universityFields of study preferred: safety management, risk management and insurance, business management, engineering, or science majors highly preferred
7+ years of work experience and ability to provide exemplary service to large accounts.
Pe, csp, arm or other professional designation required.
Ability to work independently (possibly from a remote position) in a timely manner.
Ability to build relationships, implement solutions and deliver results.
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
Regular overnight travel (up to 30%)

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external marketActual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the roleThe base pay is just one component of the hartford’s total compensation package for employeesOther rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognitionThe annualized base pay range for this role is:
$123,200 - $184,800
