Minimum qualification requirements:
Master’s degree or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, or equivalent and; Active, unrestricted license (phd, psyd, lcsw, lmft, lcpc) in washington state or willing to become licensed in washington stateFull licensure is preferredProvisional or associate licenses must be under current supervision and; Available to hold at least 15 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and; Must be able to work with clients of diverse backgrounds such as: lgbtq+, non-binary gender identities, across racial and cultural origins.
Other qualification preferences (not required):
Prior experience in a private practice setting. Two (2) years or more of counseling experience (can include agency, student, & associate licensed work).
This position is flexible when it comes to scheduleOur normal business hours are monday through friday, 9am to 6pmYou may choose your availability as long as you can accommodate at least 15 client sessions per week.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Perform on-site clinical counseling services to clients, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to client sessions is required. Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed. Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, email, or “client portal” used by the center’s electronic health record system, etcOr through the center’s websiteRespond to such request by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients. Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (e.g., primary care physician, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary. Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time to time by the center or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by friday of each week)Keep patient files accurate and up to date. Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by the center. Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by the center. Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of the centerBe respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers. A quiet, confidential space to see clients via online video. Other duties which may be assigned by the center.

You must have a computer (desktop or laptop) that is compatible with the center’s ehr website and online video telehealth system (simple practice and/or zoom). Windows or mac os x along with the chrome or safari web browsersComputer must have a web camAn ipad can work if it is still receiving updates from apple by using the simple practice app. You must have a phone line for client calls to be sent to, this can be a cell phone or land line.
