About this job:
A contract services relationship manager is responsible for working with the bank’s contracted relationships to monitor the operational, credit, risk, regulatory, compliance and network requirements related the organizations with whom the bank of missouri contracts to facilitate the bank’s bin sponsorship programThis role is responsible for performing various forms of operational, credit, risk, regulatory and compliance based analysis (including financial analysis) on existing and prospective bin sponsored relationshipsThe relationship manager will be responsible for assessing and monitoring segments of the bin portfolio performanceThis role will engage relationships and conduct activities consistent with established bank policies, procedures and systems, corporate code of conduct, bank secrecy act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

As a contract services relationship manager you will:
Build relationships with key employees among contracted relationships.
Schedule regular meetings with relationships to ensure they are satisfied, explore additional sales opportunities and nurture relationships.
Create and assist in implementation of plans to address relationships’ business needs.
Provide value add to the contracted relationship and to the bank of missouri by offering additional tbom products that would be beneficial to the contracted relationship.
Facilitate and conduct initial due diligence on prospective new relationships.
Facilitate the collection of multiple sources of information, data and reports for relationships and distribute to the appropriate persons in the bank.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.gSales, operations, compliance, senior management) to address relationships’ needs.
Ensure both the company and relationship adhere to contract terms.
Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate.
Assist sales team with up-sell or cross-sell services and products.
Assist with establishing performance and revenue targets and work diligently to meet them.
Review requests from contracted relationships in a timely manner (per sla’s) and route appropriately for review and approval.
Assess portfolio and relationship level performance and provide alerts to unusual trending and or anomalies in performance.
Assess portfolio and relationship level performance and provide recommendations and/or opportunities to improve overall program.
Monitor bank and relationship performance against service level agreements.
Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory issues related to private label and card brand requirements evidenced by appropriate application of these regulations in day-to-day operations.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and attend relevant training and certification programs.
Regular travel is required.
Qualifications for success:
Bachelor`s degree (bA.) from four-year college or university; or three or more years’ banking, client relations management, retail or commercial credit, risk, or compliance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in credit card/private label industry preferred.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to write reports and regular business correspondence.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
