About this job
Under limited supervision, works with new and modified loan applications and software systemsEnsures that programs are compliant and that loan staff are trained to use the various programs.
Reviews new commercial loan programs and tests their compatibility with established computer security systems. Keeps up to date with system modifications, updates, and development of new software programs. Attends user group meetings and conferences to learn latest updates, developments and changes affecting the software Coordinates the process of testing procedures for new and modified applications and software systems. Maintains a good working knowledge of loan compliance and ensures that our systems are in compliance with all loan regulations. Instrumental in selecting, installing, setting parameters, and implementing new commercial loan software applications within the mortgage loan area. Maintain the data base of users in our commercial loan systems, administer the commercial loan systems to keep current users up to date and working. Consults with applicable vendors about software system design and maintenance. Monitors equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. Obtains and evaluates information on factors such as reporting formats requirements, costs, and security needs to determine hardware system status and limitations. Assists in the preparation of project plans and schedules, including requirements, tasks, work assignments, resources, and the inclusion of project milestones, review points, and reporting thereof. Ensures that all work and documentation meet the standards of the department and the project Assists in analyzing need for computer training to accommodate new employees, new assignments for employees, and new programs or changes within bank's information technology system. Trains employees on changes and updates on the commercial loan software systems. Trains employees in importance of security procedures and assists them in carrying out their responsibilities within the system. Reviews and evaluates performance and training needs of individuals in area of responsibility. Suggests modifications to application engineers, and at user group meetings if some features of programs are not user-friendly. Maintains appropriate expertise to ensure effective service level. Assists with the design and execution of special report requests from other departments. Effectively communicates with the entire commercial loan staff, bank staff, vendors, and any customers outside of the bank. Can quickly and efficiently assist in problems and issues that need immediate attention, and can effectively prioritize tasks according to needs.
Qualifications for success
Four year degree from college or university and experience with los (loan operating systems) required.
Experience with programs such as ncino, sales force, sageworks, and decisionpro are preferred.
