Your opportunity
Glumac is seeking a plumbing engineer/designer.
Hybrid and remote work environments are available to staff that can demonstrate good communication, quality, and accountability across their work products and effortsThe office is always available for those that desire an in-office environment full-time.
Your impact
This role will:
Collaborate with team members to successfully execute all matters in the plumbing design and assume ownership of projects as the lead plumbing designer
Including but not limited to calculations, system and equipment selections, drawing creation, spec editing, construction administration, and site visits
Produce plumbing plans, riser diagrams, schedules, and details in autocad, revit, and bluebeam while adhering to glumac drawing standards
Attend internal and external meetings, either in person or remote
Maintain and foster positive client and employee relationships
Support the career development, coaching, and mentoring of fellow staff members
Exercise innovation and inclusivity
What you bring – qualifications

Essential qualifications or competencies
3-15 years of mep industry plumbing design experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (mechanical, architectural, civil, process, chemical, etc.)
3+ years of revit experience
Experience in microsoft excel, word, powerpoint, and outlook
Effective written and verbal communication skills, time management
Comprehensive understanding of applicable plumbing codes, building codes, and standards
Strong design background and understanding of systems and applications in buildings and facilities, including coordination with other disciplines – mechanical, electrical, civil, landscape, structural, and architectural
Preferred qualifications or competencies
Experience in sustainable design including rainwater capture and reuse, greywater treatment, electrification, and heat pump water heater sizing
Design experience including fire protection, fuel oil, medical gases, ro/di systems, and lab spaces
Eit, pe, or cpd
Leed accreditation
