Full job description
This is an entry-level position on our engineering verification team reviewing mechanical and software changes from our holo surgical system r&d team.
Creates and executes manual tests for holo system.
Collates test results and presents reports on testing protocols.
Reviews draft test cases and provides feedback.
Creates accurate, detailed software defect reports.
Provides status to stakeholders on accessing overall progress and completion of testing tasks and software quality.
Partners with the development team to identify testing approaches for device design, development, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Participates in requirements and design reviews.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Samd or medical device system testing experience.
Understanding of software tools; azure devops, test asset management software.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proactive, ambitious, and fast learner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working under a qms.
Preferred understanding of spine anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology.
Experience with microsoft office suite (teams, outlook, sharepoint, onedrive, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
0-2+ years of industry experience.
Strong engineering and market knowledge in the spine implant marketplace.
Master`s degree in mechanical engineering
0-2 years experience in design control in an iso 9001 / iso 13485 / mdd regulated industry desired.
0-2 years experience in testing orthopedic implants and instruments desired.
Sedentary work: prolonged periods of sitting & physically handling objects up to 10 lbs occasionally.
Office setting - open layout with assigned workstation or office
This position may require the use of personal protective equipment during various tasks/activities including but not limited to, gloves, masks, and safety glasses.
