Function: inside sales
Reports to: inside sales supervisor
Purpose
To be the first point of contact for our customers responding to our advertisements our advertisements whilst delivering an excellent customer service in keeping with stannah ethos.
Key responsibilities
1To proactively respond to customer phone calls, emails and web enquiries and to advance the enquiry along the stannah sales process with a view to booking and confirming appointments for our sales team in the field.
2Provide a high level of customer service, building rapport and converting enquiries into appointments.
3To update and maintain your knowledge and use of stannah products, company software systems including microsoft office and other call centre specific software
4To develop and maintain logistical efficiency of our sales consultants by effective route planning and diary management
5Gathering and recording key customer data and keeping all systems accurate and up to date
6To deliver a first class customer experience by responding to all customer interactions in a polite professional manner, and to establish empathy with all customers ensuring they feel valued
7To take ownership for customer issues ensuring a satisfactory outcome for the customer
8Develop and maintain understanding and personal commitment to the stannah values
9Demonstrate strong communication skills
10Demonstrate the ability to work in a team and autonomously
11To accept constructive feedback and continually strive for further improvement
12Ensure that all work functions are undertaken in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation, relevant codes of practice and company policy procedures
13Undertake the relevant training and development appropriate to your area of work and apply the learning in the work place.

Skills and experience
Ø experience of working in a sales/inside sales/contact centre representative or similar customer facing role
Ø ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads
Ø sales, negotiation and customer service skills
Ø routing/scheduling of field sales/service appointments (desirable)
Ø working to and achieving key performance indicators
Personal attributes and behaviours
Ü appreciate the importance and value of coaching and continual performance development
Ü have a warm, friendly, professional telephone manner and have a natural ability to empathise with our customers.
Ü working within our friendly but competitive team, you will focus on gaining customer commitment through all contact media and campaigns including emails and web chat.
Ü previous experience in a similar role and a good knowledge of the uk geography would be desirable, although training would be provided to the right candidate.

The inside sales operation is open monday to friday from 09:00 to 19:00, we currently cover these hours on a schedule basisWeekend hours (approx.1 weekend in every 5 weeks schedules are required to be worked).
