The regional sales manager will work closely with the entire portfolio to ensure we provide an exceptional level of service to our guests at all timesThis individual will manage the brands business travel and group sales functions to ensure production goals are met.
The regional sales manager shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all timesThey will be responsible for exemplifying the scps culture & core values.
Maintain positive guest relations at all timesResolve guest complaints to satisfaction.
Embrace and exemplify the scp culture & core values in your day-to-day job duties.
Works with other sales leaders, central and property teams to promote understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segments.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of market segments by analyzing historical data, trends, comp set intelligence, shops
Proactively solicits and books business in assigned market segments (business travel and group)
Plans and participates in sales trips and industry related events
Participates in departmental sales meetings and relevant operational meetings
Establish and maintain strong relationships with cvb and tourism organizations to draw awareness and ensure the hotel is being represented in an accurate and effective way.
Analyze and evaluate effective market trends to identify new business opportunities and re-direct business from competitors
Partners with the marketing and sales team to plan and direct comprehensive marketing programs to promote the properties as a viable destination for business travelers (where appropriate) and like minded group opportunities
Develops and manage relationships with key clients
Flexibility to travel

Must be a united states citizen or possess a valid work permit.
Must be able to read, write, and speak englishFluency in other languages is beneficial.
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.
Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities.
Professional in appearance and demeanor.
Ability to learn, understand, and work within pos, pms, crm, and other hospitality specific software systems.
Must have general computer skills including microsoft office and google suite.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with guests, vendors, and team members.
Must have the ability to resolve problems and/or conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Must have a valid state-issued driver`s license.
Education and experience
5 years of sales experience
Knowledge and/or experience in multi segment selling
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull 50 lbs.
While primarily an indoor job, one must be able to be outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat).
Nice to have

Community involvement/philanthropic experience
4 year degree or equivalent
