Sorenson communications, llcOffers video relay service (vrs), which gives deaf, who use american sign language (asl), and hearing people the option to communicate in their preferred language - either asl or spoken english or spanishSorenson also provides onsite and remote interpreting services between english and various other world languages.
Captioncall, llcOffers internet protocol captioned telephone service (ip cts) using advanced technology and a captioning agent to quickly provide written captions of what callers say on a large, easy-to-read screen.
The education accounts sales executive will be responsible for full-cycle sales related activities beginning with prospecting, through each step of the sales pipeline, and continued growth strategies post-contractingThis must be accomplished through forming and maintaining key relationships with deaf community, interpreting community and all levels of the account organization, including executive and c-level membersStrategic accounts include marquee accounts including education, deaf schools and post - secondaryWe are looking for a growth executive with extensive sales experience to join our teamYou will thrive in this role if you have existing relationships with clients, comfortable navigating the c-suite, and possess the ability to translate action into successSales executives will be assigned a sales quota and compensated based on revenue growth.
Experience, essential duties and responsibilities
Drive the sales process and strategy from plan to close.
Articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
Ability to position products against competitors.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications or (“verbal” through interpreter for deaf applicants)
Customer centric and consultative selling approach.
Experience in creating and selling solutions.
Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and familiarity with decision making processes.
Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams including direct and channels.
Develop a customer relationship action plan
Develop customer strategic account plans for existing customers as assigned.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Develop and maintain constructive and collaborative working relationships with prospective clients with a focus to earn, establish, and cultivate a true trusted advisor status
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
Report and act on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts and prospective accounts.
Own and hit/exceed annual assigned sales targets for new business growth.
Build and maintain pipeline to 3 x annual target
Keep crm and associated tools updated with accurate data
Manage a set of accounts and customers relationship
Travel requirements: less than 50%
Preferred: ba education: ba/bs degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum years of experience
8 to 10 years description sales and business development specifically in education industry
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Must be exceptionally organized and possess problem solving skills.
Must have report writing capabilities and data analysis skills.
Advanced excel, powerpoint, and crm skills (dynamics preferred).
Must be able to communicate effectively through email, phone and text.
Be able to interface effectively with other departments, stakeholders, and executive leadership
Excellent written english skills and other language will be a plus
Proficient or fluency in american sign language preferred

Must be willing to work flexible hours – office or remote environment
Regular and predictable attendance required.
