The opportunity
Solution consultants are responsible for articulating our value proposition, architecting technology solutions and offering thought leadership to both business and technical audiencesThis role is ideal for someone with mid-market software pre-sales experience in a saas or technology product organization and experience with customer engagement/support or crmYou have a passion for demoing solutions to prospects, great discovery skills, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor through all stages of the sales cycle, including proof-of-concept trials, to mid-market and enterprise customersThis role will require occasional travel for onsite prospect meetings, industry events/trade shows, or solvvy team-building events.
The skillset
Mid market/enterprise pre-sales consulting experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation and writing skills
Crm, contact center or customer service experience is desired
Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution
Must be willing to work in a fast paced startup environment with multiple roles
Obvious passion and people skills
What you`ll do
Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and product management to deliver the appropriate solution and establish credibility and trust with the customer
Evangelize the solvvy platform value to customers (including business & it executives)
Consult with customers and prospects to understand their business needs, pain points, and evangelize the business value
Development of a technical sales strategy
Configuring and effectively demonstrating our solutions in a way that closely reflects each customer`s business (tailored demonstrations)
Mapping rfi/rfp requirements to software solutions
Scoping, managing and executing customer pilots and proof of concepts
Solution scoping abilities - using our existing solution and influencing new product development
In the first month you will partake in a robust sales enablement programIn months 2 & 3 you will begin demonstrating solvvy solutionsAfter month 3, you will be fully ramped up and working with all of the solvvy account executives providing demonstrations, managing proof-of-concept trials, providing product feedback to product marketing, and providing sales and partner enablement training.
