Job description: the staff at ssi includes a diverse mixture of educational and work experience backgrounds that allow us to respond to a wide range of questions related to the operation of our agvance softwareNew accounting customer advisors participate in several months of training before taking customer callsMentors are provided along with opportunities to observe our seasoned support membersThe person filling this position will work with our customers’ accounting staffThis may be helping configure agvance to meet financial reporting needs, consulting on the proper handling of a transaction, or reviewing a particular function of the programThe topics vary as does the aptitude of our customers and their ability to communicate those issuesThis position entails the following activities:
Customer service – excellent customer service is a vital part of our businessProviding assistance on the most effective use of our agvance suite of products is essential to customer satisfaction.
Research – customer calls vary in difficulty and sometimes require additional research to test the functionality of agvance in a particular situation or reviewing regulations governing activities in the customer’s region of the country.
Training – training is a key element in providing a superior customer experienceDepending on the need, training may occur in our ssi training lab, at the customer site, or remotely via the internet.
Product vision enhancements – customer advisors work closely with development teams to incorporate new features and enhancements which meet customer expectations.
Experience/skills required the person filling this position will be talking to our customers’ accounting staffThis could be helping them configure agvance to meet their financial reporting needs, consulting on the proper handling of a transaction, or reviewing a particular function of the programThe topics vary as does the aptitude of our customers and their ability to communicate those issuesNew members of our accounting support team go through several months of training before taking customer callsMentors are provided along with opportunities to observe some of our seasoned support membersThe following skills are required of the person filling this position:
Accounting degree or equivalent experience
Strong customer service/communication skills
Skilled at microsoft excel™ and word™
Articulate speech (excellent grammar, clear enunciation)
