Sodexo is looking for a passionate and highly motivated health & safety director who will be key to developing, implementing, and managing corporate services ifm quality vision, hse strategies, policies, processes, and systems to aid and improve business performanceThis individual will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across all quality-related areas and will report to the corporate services hse directorThis position will enable the ifm business to achieve quality excellence in operations, to exceed customer expectations, employing best practices and emphasizes continuous process improvement, while ensuring a safe work environment for all employees and ensuring customer quality expectations and standards are metThis leader serves and an internal consultant to company management team, supervisors and associates on issues affecting any of the functional areas outlined aboveThis is a highly collaborative role that will partner with business excellence team to stay calibrated with leadership to drive knowledge, consistency, and accountability, and progress.

Ability to draft and write policies and procedures – update hse manual, jhs, jsa, etc.
Champion initiatives that identify facility risk, prioritize risk reduction measures, and drive closure of recommendations to reduce the identified risks.
Utilizes the tools of lean, six sigma, and other continuous improvement processes to create a continuous improvement culture at each ifm location
Lead transitions and onboarding for hse for new ifm accounts
Develop capability for implementing continuous improvement strategies to achieve overarching ifm business strategy in collaboration with the business excellence team.
Coach collaborate & develop continuous improvement resources on continuous improvement methods & processes to establish a culture where tools and methods are utilized in a standard way to deliver improvements.
Maintain positive work relationships with members of other teams to communicate effectively, and to ensure compliance with cross-team responsibilities.
Translates and documents performance improvements to financial values that align with ifm goals.
Communicates and coordinates lean initiatives throughout the organization to interested parties of varying technical knowledge levels
Communicate effectively with all levels of management and individual contributors
Communicate highly technical concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree (engineering or another technical discipline) or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in continuous improvement and health and safety
Minimum of 2 years of experience leading lean kaizen, 5s, value stream mapping, process flow mapping, and overall company culture changes.
Minimum of 5 years of employee management
Knowledge of iso 9001, 14001; 45001; 55001
Experience in engineering, operations, and project management, including project team leader.
Advanced analytical and presentation skills
Administration and management — knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, improvement methods and coordination of people and resources.
Customer and personal service — knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal servicesThis includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Ability to motivate others to act dictated by data
Ability to lead teams in the achievement of continuous improvement initiatives and health and safety initiatives
Experience in project development, project management, change management and strong analytical skills, including data management and data analysis required
