Due to our rapid growth, we`re looking to appoint a travel manager for the united states regionThis position is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the central or eastern region.
Work with emea travel manager to create and monitor travel policies and procedures specific to the americas region
Research and arrange appropriate travel and accommodation for snowfall employees and business visitors – book flights, trains, car rentals, accommodation and coordinate associated activities
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers car rentals, hotels, and airlines
Negotiate contracts and preferred rates with travel service providers
Ensure compliance with different relevant travel policies, procedures, visas, medical, insurance and legal forms
Assist with any travel-related queries and issues
Suggest improvement and innovation in travel programs
Collate travel expenses for reporting purposes
Drive efficiencies and optimize procedures where possible
What we`re looking for:
Several years experience coordinating international travel
Experience of working in gds; prefarably amadeus
Knowledge of visitor visa policies
Hands-on experience with international travel regulations and currencies
Flexibility is key; due to the fast-paced nature of the business, there will be a requirement to make travel arrangements outside of working hours and make quick changes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Versatile with the ability to use critical thinking to solve problems
