The ux research analyst will report to the srManager ux, digital experience and be responsible for providing valuable user experience data and feedback based on a variety of research methods and self-managed initiatives that improve customer and partner experiencesWe are a small but nimble, with a high degree of ownershipOur team works on solving hard problems like solving partner pain points, driving efficiencies and improvement in how our partners find and purchase products across physical and digital locations etc.
In this role you will be responsible for creating and conducting ux research strategiesYou will interact daily with team members across multiple departments to understand and guide research needs, both defined and undefinedYou will also be required to work with minimal direction and be capable of working quickly while delivering high quality outputsThe right candidate will have a flexible, creative, and pragmatic approachYou’ll also be required to hold your own in a meeting, leading it, driving conversations around both research and dataResponsibilities:
Design, plan, conduct, synthesize, and communicate user research projects to inform design, including moderated and unmoderated usability studies, heuristic evaluations, interviews, surveys, user personas, journey maps, and service blueprints and benchmarks
Establish a process to gather, synthesize, and syndicate partner insights through engaging a cross functional group including partner support, tech support, and others
Collaborate with ux designers, product managers, product leadership as well as sales and support to iterate, refine, and enhance current digital partner experiences
Identify research objectives and goals, design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes, and generate insights that fuel ideation and evaluate designs
Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways
Document, organize, analyze, and archive qualitative and quantitative data using the standardized procedures in userbit
Evangelize ux research across the entire organization by advocating for a collaborative approach and educating teams on the value of ux research
3+ years of conducting ux researchin technology
Experience conducting user research, testing, interviews
Bachelor’s in psychology, cognitive or social studies, or equivalent experience)
Proven experience with basic mixed-methods research that includes synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data, usability studies, field research, in-depth interviews, heuristic evaluations, concept testing, journey maps, and surveys.
Experience working with user research centered around technology platforms, and ideally the smart home space
Experience with e-commerce platforms, b2b, dealer channel etc
